Telegram users can assign a specific action to swiping left in the chat list, like mute, pin, delete, archive, or mark as read.
To begin, open the telegram app on your phone. Tap on the three lines from the top left corner. From the menu that appears from the left, select settings. Then go to, chat settings. Scroll down, and you will see, Chat list swipe gesture. Now Scroll through the options including Archive, Mute, Delete, Pin, and Read. Select your preference, and then go back to the app’s home screen. Now when you swipe left on a chat, the new swipe behavior should be reflected
