If you want to understand the guitar notes at an exceptional level then you are going to need to unleash the simplicity of this lessons master tip. In this lesson, I’m showing you a method to play and memorize notes on the neck that applies to every way that notes exist everywhere across the fingerboard.
No more guessing as to where a note is because you’ll have an iron clad way of analyzing the layout of the entire fret-board. The simplicity helps to build a solid connection by plotting octaves and unisons.
With this master tip note location method, you’ll know any note name right away and you’ll start seeing new places (around the fingerboard) for every note you want. This method is one of the best tips that you can use when you are training yourself to locate note names and their many locations around the guitar.
The reason for this is twofold. First, the position of every note is tied to a string by string location system. Learning to visualize it creates a more stable and stronger understanding for any & all possible locations. Second, learning about large note gaps helps with understanding note displacement. Knowing how notes are displaced allows for 10 times better guitar neck awareness
