And even though I don't fix phone's anymore due to the headaches involved, I always help a friend in need of some tech help. Like all technology , water is not our friend. Even though your phone may say it's water resistant, it's not waterPROOF, and the manufacturer does not cover water damage under warranty. I've fixed more computer 's for friends than I can count, and though a pc issue is the most common, I'll always go out of my way to help with anything. This is why Right to Repair is so important, because the customer can't always trust the manufacturer's opinion, but when they're the only one that have access to the parts, or the parts are so overpriced it makes it not worth it for a shop, they have no choice.
