FurMark damaged brand new PSU, causing coil whine and system instability
Upon starting the FurMark benchmark on RTX 4070 Ti and a brand new Corsair Rmx Series RM1000x, my computer made a loud click and turned off. I was able to restart it only after unplugging the cable and leave it unplugged for ~5 min. After restart a loud buzzing noise was coming from the case, and after a while the PC was shutting down with a click. Testing and inspecting, listening - loud coil whine noise was coming from the PSU. PSU replacement solved the issue.
