What are over-ear headphones type? Over-ear headphones/headsets may be open-back, closed-back (sealed). The larger drivers, that come in over ear headphones generally allow to produce better sound. This type of headphones can be with or without a microphone. They can also be wired or wireless. Main pros are best comfort, excellent sound quality, but the main cons of over ear headphnes are price, bulky size and ofen powerhungry.
