I look at a picture of people on a city block and talk about what the people are doing. I also describe what they are wearing. I use lots of pointing, gestures, and repetition to make it easy for English beginners to understand what I'm saying and pick up new words and grammar.

Comprehensible English (English Comprehensible Input for ESL Beginners) is creating videos that beginning English learners can easily understand and acquire English from just by watching and listening, no matter what language they speak, even if they don't know any English at all yet.
The videos make English comprehensible to beginners and help learners acquire English using techniques from methods and approaches such as Stephen Krashen's Natural Approach, Automatic Language Growth (ALG), Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling (TPRS), and Total Physical Response (TPR).
The aim is to teach English in English through a natural approach of helping learners acquire English implicitly, without translation, without explicit teaching of grammar and vocabulary, and without conscious study or practice.
