Defending WXV 2 champions Scotland went into the 2024 WXV competition knowing that had a tough challenge ahead of them, as retaining their title wasn't going to be easy. The Thistle put in strong performances, picking up wins against Italy and Japan.

Then in their final match versus South Africa they suffered a defeat and lost the WXV 2 title to the Springboks. Despite this disappointment, Scotland scored a collection of great tries over the three matches.
