In this video, we see how to use Ethernet and Apple's Internet Sharing to use an Apple Macintosh as Display, Mouse, and Keyboard for a Raspberry Pi.
Since Internet Sharing over Ethernet on the Mac seems to fail in certain situations (in particular for different WiFi network configurations) - we break Internet Sharing and then dig through why it is failing and how to fix it. We use commands like ssh, tcpdump, ifconfig, netstat, and arp to dig through the Macintosh's low-level network configuration and figure out why things are broken.
If you are just having problems with your Mac OS/X Internet Sharing, this video will still be quite useful. Video provided by http://www.dr-chuck.com/
