*15 MINUTES* CHOCO LAVA IN A KATORI
Episode 16 of #NoOvenNoProblem ☀, a series where I make your favourite desserts at home WITHOUT an oven 💁🏻♂ Choco lava has to be one of my favourite classic desserts🥰 and this Eggless Katori version is probably the easiest, fastest, and the yummiest way to devour this delight in the most comforting way❤️
Ingredients
🤎1/3 cup castor sugar
🤎1/4 tbsp melted butter
🤎½ cup warm milk
🤎½ cup all purpose flour / whole wheat flour
🤎4 tbsp cocoa powder
🤎½ tsp baking powder
🤎1/4 tsp baking soda
🤎2 large cubes of couverture chocolate
🤎Icing sugar, to dust
Process-
1. Set a kadhai on low-medium heat and spread a layer of salt at the bottom of the kadhai. Place a small stand in the center and place a plate on it. Close the lid of the kathai. Let it preheat for about 10 mins.
2. In a bowl, combine the sugar and melted butter. Pour in the warm milk and mix until well combined.
3. Add the dry ingredients—flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and baking soda. Mix until a smooth batter forms.
4. Divide the batter into 3 katoris and place a big chunk of chocolate in the middle.
5. Place the katoris in the preheated kadhai and cook them for 12-15 mins.
6. Once cooked, serve warm with a dusting of icing sugar.
