The 2024 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation will be held in Beijing from September 4 to 6. CGTN invited Africans to share their views on China-Africa cooperation in the fields of trade and business, cultural and people-to-people exchanges, environmental protection, sister cities, etc.

In this video, Liu Yuankang, or Devin, a Chinese student majoring in African Studies at the University of Cape Town in South Africa, sat with Nokukhanya Khanyi Zulu, a South African English teacher who once lived in China, to discuss the fruits of China-South African cooperation and share their stories and feelings of living in each other's countries. Nokukhanya noted that South Africa has deeply cooperated with China in the education sector, as the number of Confucius Institutes in South Africa is the highest on the African continent, and the Chinese language has been incorporated as part of the curriculum in local high schools.
