You can import passwords to your Google Account, and then check if any passwords aren't secure. Passwords in your Google Account will sync across all devices you sign in to.

Step 1: Download your passwords as a .CSV file
Only passwords in the .CSV file format can be imported to your Google Account.

To learn how to download your passwords, go to the help center for the password management app you use.

Tip: To make sure your passwords are formatted properly, open your .CSV file. Check if the first line of your .CSV file includes these column names:

url
username
password
If not, update your .CSV file.

Step 2: Import passwords
Go to passwords.google.com.
In the top right, select Settings Settings and then Import and then Select File.
Choose your file.
Select Import.
Step 3: Delete your .CSV password file
After you import passwords to your Google Account, delete the .CSV password file you downloaded.

If you don't delete your password file, anyone with access to the device can open the file and access your passwords.

Check for unsafe passwords
Go to passwords.google.com.
Select Go to Password Checkup.
Can't import passwords
Use a .CSV file
Only .CSV files can be used to import passwords to your Google Account. Make sure you select the .CSV file type when you download your password file.

Update your .CSV file
Open your .CSV file.
Make sure the first line of your .CSV file includes these column names: url,username,password
If the first line of your .CSV file has a related column with a different name, update the name. For example:
If the first line of your .CSV is: username,password,website
Change the first line to: username,password,url
Check password import & storage limits
You can import 3,000 passwords at a time. If you need to import more than 3,000 passwords, split them into multiple .CSV files and import the files separately.
You can store up to 10,000 passwords in your Google Account.
