This machine appeared in the game thanks to the cooperation of Wargaming with Amazon. That is why the T42 comes with 2 styles (one of them 3D) from the series “The Boys” and 2 sets of crew members, each with 4 characters from the series (two opposing sides).

The T42 has a 90 mm gun, standard for tier 8. But the one-time damage is above average - 240 units. The only depressing thing is the low armor penetration of the basic 190 mm armor-piercing projectile and the flight speed of 814 m/s. But a special sub-caliber penetrates 268 mm and flies at a speed of as much as 1410 m/s.

In gold the tank is impulsive: it penetrates and shoots accurately in advance.
It is worth noting the accuracy among American STs, and in general excellent compared to level 8 premiums - 0.3 per 100 meters. This partly compensates for the weak penetration of the BB gun. Despite the powerful turret and considerable dimensions, the T42 has the smallest weight among the US premium ST at 33.79 tons (17 less than the SuperPershing). But the engine is rather weak, so the specific power of the machine is only 14.8 hp/t. With such a thrust-to-weight ratio, it can hardly reach a maximum speed of 51/20 km/h. Maneuverability is not bad compared to its American classmates, but in general this is an average indicator for the ST 8. At the same time, it has poor off-road maneuverability.
