Two Apple experts explain what to do when your iPhone charging port is loose.

First, use an anti-static brush or brand new toothbrush to clean out the Lightning port.

There may be some lint or compacted debris inside the charging port making it feel loose.

If the Lightning port is clean, but it’s still loose, you’ll have to get it repaired. If you have AppleCare+, Apple is probably your best option.
