Make a Tension Clip Setting: A Silversmithing Tutorial
This tutorial shows how to make a Fun pendant with a unique style setting. I can see a lot of potential for variations of this basic idea. It could even be a piece with interchangeable stones. I would categorize this as an intermediate piece. The agate is about 30 mm.. For materials, I used 22 gauge sterling round wire, 14 gauge sterling round wire, 16 gauge sterling square wire, 14 gauge sterling square wire, 26 gauge sterling sheet, and 18 gauge sterling sheet. As always, I use hard silver sheet solder and My-T-Flux from Rio Grande.
