We say "In a blue moon" to indicate that something occurs rarely. My darling mama used to say that all the time, but in the month of August 2024 we had a blue moon! Two full moons in one month. And on top of that, we had a super moon, which is the moon is closest to earth. I want to thank my friend Rita in Covington for explaining this wonderful information. She is a truly erudite woman. And she’s smart and good looking as well. If only she would not talk to the moon so much .... (sigh)
