Emerging Pakistan is an initiative by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of Pakistan to highlight and promote the opportunities available in one of the most dynamic and robust nations with a youthful population. This platform will showcase the best of forward-thinking Pakistan from art, culture, commerce, industry sectors, and tourism by using the hashtag #EmergingPakistan. Through Emerging Pakistan, the Government seeks to interact with importers, investors, individuals, tourists, and corporations who are interested in joining Pakistan’s journey to prosperity.
The Commercial Section, Consulate General of Pakistan, Houston is responsible for the promotion/facilitation of exports of Pakistan including investment in Pakistan. Its areas of jurisdiction are Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, and all US territories and dependencies in the Atlantic and Caribbean region (Puerto Rice and US Virgin Islands).
The Commercial Section is a representative office of the Ministry of Commerce and works in close coordination with the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan- Chambers of Commerce and Association in Pakistan. The Commercial Section also offers matchmaking services for intending importers/investors. It is responsible for providing up-to-date trade, investment, and tariff policies of Pakistan.
