Recently, we received a lot of updates, including new information on the Pyro Traveler, who might be the strongest among all elements. We also got early speculations for the 5.2 banners, which honestly look either very bad or very good, depending on how you see it. Additionally, there were updates on new maps for the next version, as well as some information on upcoming maps in Snezhnaya and a few more details. So in this video, let's take a look at those changes.
Let's start with the speculated banners for the 5.2 update. According to Flying Flame, in the first phase, we will get a new 5-star character, Chasca, and a 4-star character, Ororn, alongside a Klee rerun. Yeah, it's not that exciting, but in the second phase, it's said that we'll get Venti and Albedo reruns. As you can see, these are some older characters, and they aren't that strong in the current meta. What’s more concerning is that there are no reruns for more recent characters like Arlecchino or Wriothesley.
Looking back at the banners shared by Flying Flame, having Albedo and Klee does make sense. Considering that characters who appear in main events usually get a rerun, it’s likely that Albedo and Klee will accompany us in the main Dragonspine event. As for Venti, it has already been speculated that he will return in 5.2, and since this patch is almost guaranteed to feature an Archon rerun, Venti seems to be the only candidate.
Again, this is all speculation from Flying Flame, so take it with a grain of salt. If these banners turn out to be true, most players will likely skip this patch unless the developers make Chasca so great that the focus will shift entirely to her.
These banners wouldn't be so bad if they replaced Albedo or Klee with Arlecchino or Wriothesley. But even if that doesn’t happen, the banners are still pretty good. Why? Because you won’t feel the need to pull and can save for Mavuika in the next update. Mavuika’s banner is expected in 5.3, so if 5.2 doesn’t include any OP characters, it’s a win for F2P players.
Currently, Mavuika is a 5-star claymore user, as we saw in the Capitano and Mavuika fight scene. It was also mentioned that her kit includes a whole bike, so it’s very exciting to see how her abilities will turn out.
