Things to focus on for pure single-target fights:
1) There's a lot to gain in the Bloodlust by making sure that you string together 2pc benefit. Generally you do 3 Aimeds per cycle during Bloodlust, and you really want to make sure the first Aimed in each of those gets the 2pc benefit from the previous one. That way you can spend the whole Bloodlust basically never dropping 2pc. (I had 17/19 2pc-buffed Aimed Shots in Bloodlust).
2) Being aware of the floor is quite important and I fail this sometimes. Being knocked back mid-cast is a really terrible DPS loss, way more so than just moving immediately and filling in with Arcanes and Markeds.
