Escape from Tarkov is probably the best known and most played "raid Shooter' Where you enter a multiplayer match, try to kill other players while not getting killed yourself, collect as much loot off the floor as possible and then extract from the location.
My friends just wanted to play Escape from Tarkov, but I honestly didn't feel like playing a first person shooter with them. So I simply didn't shoot anyone for 8 months of playtime and instead learned just how far I could get in the game without interacting with the primary gameplay mechanic.
