Learn how to scatter symbols randomly with your current paths using extendscript.

You may either copy and paste script inside Adobe ExtendScript Toolkit and run.
Or you can create an empty text document and paste code inside and save it with a jsx extension. (I.E.:random_scatter_with_symbols.jsx)
After that, you may copy script file inside Adobe Illustrator - Scripts folder and run directly from Illustrator from File - Scripts.
Script might take minutes so don't panic and try not to use with thousands of paths. Illustrator might freeze but at some point it will complete the script.
