If you’ve tried letting someone know that you’re on your way with a quick omw text on an iPhone, you were probably surprised to see the abbreviation autocorrect to ‘on my way’ with an explanation point. This is caused a lot of frustration. Since people who typically abbreviate their messages don’t want to sound that enthusiastic about something so mundane.
