🎒 In this intense episode, we were forced to evacuate our AirBnB in Chiang Mai after the Ping River flooded half the city in October 2024. With flood waters from lower thighs to waist high, we navigated 2 kilometers through submerged streets – on foot – carrying all our belongings. What began as a peaceful chapter of our slow travel Thailand journey turned into a fight to stay dry, safe, and calm.
