Let's start with Axie's player base, which took a huge hit in the last few months. Axie went from almost 3M monthly active players to 700k in a short period of time.
$SLP took a hit of almost 99% from its all-time highs. Its current price is less than 1 cent of a dollar.
$AXS went the same path, 15 USD right now.
Both tokens were dumped because the team failed to give them utility inside Axie Infinity's metaverse.

Axie Infinity Origin looked like the safe haven of Axie, but I was wrong. So far $SLP didn't get a new utility as it was thought before and it will take some time until you start to need $SLP to craft runes and shards.
NFT Land Staking was a good move to make land owners happy, but it will only increase more $AXS selling pressure.
Besides that, there are just too many investment opportunities to have your liquidity locked in an NFT Gaming project that will take a long time to get on its feet.
