HR and Transport ministries launch PATH to train 1,000 new commercial truck drivers
The Human Resources and Transport ministries on Tuesday (Aug 27) launched the Haulier Industry Training and Professionalism Programme aimed at training 1,000 truckers, including those already working in the ports, as well as other lorry drivers who want to upskill in order to secure better employment.
The programme is dubbed the Professional Advancement in Trucking and Haulage (PATH) programme.
