Lewis Goodall grills Labour MP over 'austerity plans' | LBC debate
Keir Starmer has vowed Labour will not return to austerity, but said the party would have to make “tough decisions” about public services.
Lewis Goodall points out the 'flaws' in Keir Starmer and Rachel Reeves' plans, saying 'they certainly look like a semi-skimmed version of austerity'. He adds "in fairness to Cameron and Osborne they actually ran on it, Labour ran saying there would be no return."
He challenges Leader of the House of Commons and Labour MP Lucy Powell over the proposed policies.
