With good range and efficiency, charge stop route planning built-in, and the Supercharger network all over the place, is the Tesla Model 3 really the best EV road trip machine?
Having driven to Italy in the Kia e-Niro ( • Kia e-Niro Euro road trip part 1: Dri... ) and Hyundai IONIQ 5 ( • It's a charging monster! England to I... ) before — wrestling with A Better Route Planner each time — I was keen to try a similar journey with a Tesla which should make life much easier.
