This is Pixar's third science fiction film, following WALL-E (2008) and Buzz Lightyear (2022). It tells the story of an eleven-year-old boy named Elio who accidentally becomes an intergalactic ambassador for planet Earth after aliens insert him into the Communiverse for contact.
