Indian (🇮🇳) Mariyappan Thangavelu bags silver in Men’s High Jump at Tokyo 2020 Paralympics
India’s Mariyappan Thangavelu has clinched silver medal in men’s high jump T63 (combined with T42) class event. He made a jump of 1.86 meters.
Mariyappan Thangavelu is a Padma Shri and Khel Ratna awardee and suffered permanent disability in his right leg after it was crushed under a bus when he was only five years old.
