Dark Souls 1 has a handful of unused NPCs, and while many of them ended up being finished in the DLC, some were simply consigned to history. Undead King Jar-Eel wasn't fortunate enough to make it into Oolacile, but he's led a surprisingly active life despite it thanks to the modding community. Still, there's a bit of confusion about a few facts relating to him.
