Lice are a common problem, especially among school-going children. If left untreated, lice can lead to secondary infections, particularly at the back of the neck, causing itching, pus formation, and even hair loss. Lice feed on the blood meant for hair follicles, leaving hair weak and deprived of essential nutrients.
Effective Treatments:
1️⃣ Permethrin Lotion 1%: Apply on dry hair, wait for 20 minutes, rinse with warm water, and comb out dead lice and nits.
2️⃣ Ivermectin 0.5% Shampoo: Apply on dry hair, leave for 10 minutes, rinse thoroughly, and use a fine-toothed comb to remove lice and nits.
💡 Weekly Care Tip: Repeating the treatment weekly is essential, as lice eggs hatch frequently. Don’t forget to clean combs and pillows to prevent re-infestation!
