Rock Beach in Pondicherry is also known as Pondicherry Beach, famous for its beachfront view and the City of Pondicherry. Pondicherry is located in India along the Bay of Bengal.
A long beach with rocks on shore. It’s not allowed to swim on this beach. It’s very crowded in the evening with lot of eateries near the Gandhi statue. It’s good to go early morning for a walk and watch sunrise. The north side is near Aurobindo Ashram area. This area is comparatively less crowded. Avoid going there during mid of the day as It’s too hot n humid.
ou cant miss rock beach while in Pondicherry, it is adjacent to french quarters and offers great view of sunrise. It great for a stroll during all times of the day. Clearly the most frequented beach by locals a tourist, I wish more effort can be put to keep it clean.
