I have long tried to figure out what exactly is frightening me in the new Alien - in addition to the Alien itself, of course. First, I realized how much I relied on industrial standards and the accumulated gaming experience. "Oh, well, they definitely will not do it!" Became my main enemy. Creative Assembly constantly caught me on expectations and acted contrary to the design techniques, which I was accustomed to by other AAA hits. At some point, I realized that I did not want to go any further on the plot, because I felt embarrassed - I could not foresee the next events, I did not see the patterns on which the others build their games.
