2. Avoid hotels if you can and go for hostels or Airbnbs.
3. To lower overall travel costs, look into traveling to cheaper countries.
4. Budget accordingly for food, excursions, public transportation, and souvenirs (maybe).
5. Fly with only a carry-on + your personal item to avoid checked baggage and overweight fees.
6. Purchase a SIM card when you arrive in the country you’re traveling to (only if you plan on using your phone without wifi).
