Building a Life Size BMO from Scratch Part 2: Parametric 3D Design, 3D Printing and Assembly
What happens when you combine an enthusiastic maker learning electronics, a beloved Adventure Time character, and a need for a Raspberry Pi running an Octoprint server?? A whole lot of mayhem, it seems!
Watch me endeavour to tackle this meaty project to create my very own talking, life-size, 3D printer controlling BMO. I'll be using a Raspberry Pi 4, compatible components, 3D printing and design, and a whole lot of Python to achieve this goal. Many of these things I will be attempting for the first time, so expect some bumps and learning experiences along the way.
Part Two is ALLLLL about 3D Design, Accessibility Design Principles, and 3D Printing, not to mention a LOT of screwing things together. I walk through many of my decisions around the design and how I'm aiming to make this as easy for YOU to make as possible!
