Revit stairs include many user configurable settings and it can sometimes be difficult to understand exactly what some of these settings actually control. Revit 2017.1 now includes detailed annotated tooltips for most stair properties on the properties palette and in the edit type dialog. Simply hover your mouse over a setting to see these tooltips.
