If your workflow involves the use of scanned imagery (USGS maps, Soil maps, Floodplain maps, etc.) you probably have your own strategies for manually aligning these images to your Civil 3D drawings. If you have access to Raster Design, you can export your aligned images with a world file such that you can easily import them into other drawings. (Generally speaking, the world file "remembers" the insertion point, scale, rotation etc.) In this session we'll explore a technique to export a geospatially aligned image with a world file using Raster Design
