how to convert snapshot to volume and attach to server | AWS Cloud Demo Project |AWS Cloud Computing
This demo is for beginners who want to learn AWS Cloud Computing.
Following are the steps followed in this demo,
1. create 2 Instances in different availability zones
2. create Volume-1 in the availability zone of the first server and attach it to server 1
3. After attaching volume-1 to server1 create / paste data on disk
4. Take a snapshot of volume-1
5. Convert snapshot to Volume-2 in availability zone of 2nd Server
6. Attach (Volume-2)volume-from-snapshot to server 2 and check the data should be available from server 1
Removing Resources:
1. Detach Volumes from both the servers and delete both volumes
2. Terminate Both Servers
3. Delete Snapshot created from volume-1
