Let's take a look at how I'm mixing rap vocals in 2020. In this video I share some tips on mixing crispy vocals. I explain my thought process on why I chose a particular plugin and what it's doing to the vocals.
There's so many ways to mix vocals - it isn't a one size fits all, but you can take from these tips and develop your own sound and develop an understanding on how to mix vocals to sound professional.
If you don't have the same plug-ins I use in the video, you can find an alternative, or use the stock plug-ins that come with your DAW
