Getty Images presented an evening with one of the UK's most celebrated & collected photographers, Terry O'Neill at the Hospital Club, London. Chairing the discussion was Matthew Butson, Vice President of Getty Images' Hulton Archive.

Londoner O'Neill is well known for his iconic portraits of film stars, musicians and sports personalities, photographed during a career spanning five decades. The Hospital Club is currently showing highlights of the Getty Images Gallery's Intimate -- Photographs from Terry O'Neill exhibition, including studies of Muhammad Ali, Michael Caine and Raquel Welch.

O'Neill explains: "I was working on films for two or three weeks at a time and that way I got friendly with the stars and spent as much time as I could with them. This meant I got an insight into my subjects as real people and not just as icons. I think this dimension is really interesting, particularly with photographers' access to celebrities being limited more and more."
