To calculate the volume of a stockpile in AutoCAD Civil 3D, you can use the following steps:

Create a surface: First, you need to create a surface that represents the existing ground level. This can be done by importing a survey data file, or by manually creating a TIN surface using points or contours.

Create a second surface: Next, create a surface that represents the top of the stockpile. This can be done by importing a survey data file, or by manually creating a TIN surface using points or contours.

Create a volume surface: Using the two surfaces created in steps 1 and 2, create a volume surface. This can be done by selecting both surfaces and using the "Create Volume Surface" command.

Define the stockpile area: Define the area of the stockpile that you want to calculate the volume for. You can do this by creating a closed polyline or boundary around the stockpile.

Calculate the volume: Using the "Volume Dashboard" tool, select the volume surface and the stockpile area that you defined in step 4. This will calculate the volume of the stockpile and display it in the dashboard.

Review the results: After calculating the volume, you can review the results in the Volume Dashboard, which will show the volume of the stockpile as well as other information such as the cut and fill volumes and the average elevation of the stockpile.

These steps should help you to calculate the volume of a stockpile in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
