The new Atlas robot is leaner, but not meaner — it’s actually designed to be more approachable and less industrial. But its improved range of motion is still intended to help it perform those industrial tasks, and with its compact size and ability to maneuver fairly gracefully, it can unlock new use cases and possible work environments.
