IICS EXAMPLE 35 : Connected/Unconnected lookup multiple match policy
Multiple match: use any value given
Here we are taking source file as employee file
And lookup file dept as flat file and with two duplicate values for dept id 20 as marketing and banking
I am looking the dep table with dept id and we see above properties in practical and we see results also.
In source I am taking only dept id 20
So it is left outer join always
Here flatfile dept id is string but we have to change into number
Here I am giving Multiple Matches: use any row means informatica will take there intrest it may take banking or marketing
By default it is taking marketing.
Return first row: means informatica will sort in cache then give the result. So we get what?
It is Banking
Return last row: it gives marketing
Return all rows: it gives both banking and marketing
Report error: it will not send any data it gives warning/error
This is about multiple match in lookup
