Why Are FNF Mod Creators Switching To GameJolt? In this video I answer this question that many of us have been wondering for a few hours.
September 3rd, 2021, this was a chaotic day for the Friday Night Funkin' community.
A massive hack occured on Gamebanana, known for being the most popular FNF mod web site, due to someone getting access to an admin account.
The hacker, known as Arch, proceeded to cause havoc across the community, trashing almost every popular FNF mod on the site.
They also got access to account from FNF mod creators, like bbpanzu, which I talked in the last video.
And there has also been a mod who's been deleting FNF mods for wrong reasons, for example, the VS Bob Mod, Kapi mod, and all reskin mods made by RonSkinMods have been trashed for, quote on quote, quality control.
I am one thousand percent sure that the mods were not low quality nor low effort, teams have worked on these mods, and they put a lot of effort in it, so they don't deserve to be deleted.
These mods don't deserve to be deleted.
Due to this recent hacker attack, many mod creators have decided to switch to other platforms, like Gamejolt or Nexus, and I honestly agree on this decision.
This change from Gamebanana to Gamejolt will probably take a while to occur, but it's definitely going to be worth it.
