Thanks for joining me for the first episode of the new series: Guitar Soloing... In this first lesson we're going to look at a few of the basic principles of constructing a guitar solo. This will involve working with limited notes and how to manage your register when improvising. The lesson will be the beginning of what you'll need to know to create solos, and what the areas are that need to be understood in order to help you with composing a series of phrases that can stand alone (as a solo) within a song. The lessons, in this series, will cover what you'll need to become familiar with when creating Guitar solos.
