The partnership between Booking.com and Guesty is a very healthy one.
It’s about driving revenue. It’s driving new properties on both platforms ultimately to make things better. And that’s one of the things we’ve always seen in the relationship with Guesty.
When I think about the partnership and what you feel when you immediately get involved in it, is based on: how do we make it a better travel ecosystem overall, how will it benefit a traveler. It feels strong.
Ultimately, we want all the properties that are working with Guesty to do everything they need to do on the Guesty platform. So we tried to kind of simplify by making sure that the foundation capabilities around: how do I set my price, how do I manage my content, how do I create the right photos.
The other thing we’re doing right now and that’s what I’m really excited about is the work we’re doing on the seamless experience.
If we think about the end customer in mind, meaning the end host or property owner and the end traveler, their options go up. One of the trends I’ve seen is at one point people would have said: Vacation rentals? More personal, less professional. Hotels? Less personal, more professional. Those things are coming together as hotels respond to the challenge of saying how can they bring a personalized experience? And the VR industry is just so much more professional than it was five, ten years ago.
Guesty is a premier partner in our program since five years.
So overall, I’d say we are very happy to be partners with Guesty.
