In none of my playthroughs was I 100% sure which decisions or answers led to which personality. In one playthrough, I probably loaded my save point at the same point up to 20 times until I got the desired result (poster, in Chapter 2).
But what I can say with 100% certainty is that you still get clues in Chapters 1 and 2 that show you your current personality.
I can only advise you to draw your "cell neighbor" on the wall, as their gestures indicate your current personality. I once tested the effect a conversation with the judge can have on your personality 0:07
Starting on the third night in the cell, the judge's faces will show you which personality you currently have 3:09
In Chapter 2, the poster in the background will reveal this to you 4:36
And whether Chapter 3 still affects your personality is a mystery to me?! In any case, I can only recommend saving immediately when you currently have the personality you want. That way, you're on the safe side if your next steps change your personality!
