I show how to clean your MAP sensor or how to clean MAP sensors. This is one easy tune up when you have bad MAP sensor symptoms. MAP sensor codes include P0106, P0107, P0108 etc, I also discuss how to troubleshoot these codes for the manifold absolute pressure sensor. I show how to change MAP sensor on the 2003 - 2012 Honda Accord as well as Honda with the K24A engine, 2003 - 2008 Odyssey and the 2003 - 2006. In the odd MAP sensor not working situation, this is among the first set of things to do during troubleshooting. The video is demonstrated for the MAP sensor Honda Accord as it shows Honda manifold absolute pressure sensor cleaning. The location of the MAP sensor is usually on the intake manifold near the throttle body. Symptoms of a bad MAP sensor include, rough idling, poor mileage, surging, stalling, hard-starting etc. I also show how to remove stripped MAP sensor screws or bolts on the 2003 - 2007 Accord. MAP sensors should be cleaned with a spray cleaner that leaves no residue. In this video, I used an electric contact cleaner. Most important is that the cleaner should be safe on rubber, plastic and as earlier stated, will not leave residue that could mess with the sensor. MAF sensor cleaners are a good pick for this job.
