The video provides the steps to connect to the Kafka server using SASL_SSL protocol.
First, we will see the Ambari configuration needed to enable server side SASL_SSL configuration, and there will be an example configuration from a client to connect to the server using this protocol.
As this is a one way SSL communication between client-server, ensure to have property below enabled:
ssl.client.auth=none
This means client authentication is not needed. By default this property is set to None. You can double check this from Ambari console - kafka - configs, and search for the same in the filter text box at the top right of the service screen.
