Use this method to measure your testosterone level.

Step 1: Know the facts
Know the facts: More testosterone exposure is linked to a longer ring finger. Researchers say ring finger length is determined as early as the 14th week of pregnancy.

Step 2: Examine your hand
Take a good look at your own fingers by straightening them out and closing the space between them. Hold your hand in front of your face with your palm open and facing away from you.

Step 3: Eyeball the difference
Look at the difference between the length of your index (or second) finger and your ring (or fourth) finger.

Tip
Compare your finger length to a woman's, if you are a man, and to a man's, if you are a woman, to get a visual on the difference testosterone makes in ring finger length.

Step 4: Calculate your masculinity
Calculate your testosterone level: the longer your ring finger is in relation to your index finger, the more testosterone you were exposed to in the womb. Conversely, a person with an index finger longer than the ring finger was exposed to more estrogen as a fetus.

Step 5: Accept your lot in life
Accept the results -- the relative length of your fingers is set before birth and remains the same throughout life.

Did You Know?
Men produce 20 to 40 times the amount of testosterone that women do.
