NRL22 April 2024 Match
A challenging windy day for shooting rifles and video! The wind was crazy at this match. It was measured blowing consistently over 20 MPH and gusting inconsistently up to 30-35 MPH. The wind was also changing direction at the beginning of the day making it even more difficult to find the correct wind call. People were actually happy with the weather because we didn't have snow like last month! I did my best to cut the wind sound in the video. I've learned more about which audio frequencies the wind makes the most noise at then I ever thought I would know. I tried to eliminate the wind noise but unfortunately the audio was pretty much ruined and the best I could do was limit the damage. Even with this crazy wind ECCL had a record 29 people show up. Shooters traveled all the way from Michigan and Illinois to shoot the match. The course of fire was fun and is the final match of the season before the new NRL22 season starts again next month. For the eagle-eyed observers I am running new shooting bags from a new company that are pretty awesome. I'll let people know more about them in the future.
